Pat have you tried uploading your photos to Photobucket or Picasa
or the Irish site PIX.IE . You can also post photos from your photo library on your computer but have noticed that once you have posted a photo once , it won't post again for some reason. |

Pat...
Check that your pictures are still on Flickr. If you have removed them from Flickr then they won't still show here anymore. Peter |

Thanks Pete. All my photos in Flickr are gone. My account may have expired because I don't remember deleting them all.

It won't upload a second time because it is already on your list, but can be selected from your upload list and posted again.

Page 3 on this thread. But am updating again. Won't let me update Steve Miller photos. Will keep going. Just got message that I've exceeded the 200mb space limit. Edited by Biker Pat - 17-October-2014 at 15:19 |

There is your problem... You have uploaded your limit. It probably depends on your photo size. When you link from Flickr or Photo Bucket you are not using space here but only creating a link.. |

Hi Pete, uploaded photos using the "tree" icon above. Don't think it allows you resize your photos. Is the limit on here a personal limit? I mean can anybody else post rock photos or have I overloaded the whole thread? If so, then best my posts on this thread are deleted. |

Pat,
You have uploaded to your limit. You can go to the list and delete pictures you won't want to post again to free up some space. To store a ton of pics in your assigned space it is best to reduce the photo size before uploading. Most cameras today are in excess of 2mgs a photo. I find that sizing around 7" (longest measurement) @ 72ppi looks sharp on the forum. There should be an easy photo editing thingy on computer if you are not sneaky enough to pirate Photoshop. Always remember to "SAVE AS" when reducing pics or you will ruin your original. Your photo storage space on the forum does not affect other members -ThankGod

Pat,
I just put above into practice and found photos will not delete from the "Tree" window. Go to "Member Control Panel" then "File Manager" where you can select photos to delete from your list. You have used 200mgs of space...that's a lot of damn pictures--- and not even one of me.

Pogue,
Using your post above I can see where I can delete photos. The question I have is can anyone else post photos or have I taken up ALL the space for posting photos? Pat |

I believe everyone' is allowed 200mgs of space. Your uploads should not affect anyone else ...other than making them giggle. HAR!

Thanks Pogue.............
But there's 1418 members on here. Can I not get the at least half of their space as more than 700 don't ever post on here? And I got some more photos to update. That would solve my problem. Edited by Biker Pat - 24-October-2014 at 20:50 |

I think the memory thing only counts when you actually upload to the forum. If you go back to the old way and link to Photobucket and the like then memory does not come into the equation as the photos are stored on their site and only linked to this one. Personally I think you should have all of the space you want but being a business man I'll make you a one time offer. I can post photos on my forum space for you at 15 cents a piece. ( or I can have a special on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8 photos for $1). Except Pancake Tuesdays and if Christmas falls on Thursdays, then it costs 18 cents per photo. I will let you create a montage of photos for 3 cents per square inch. if this works out I can manage other members' accounts and pay them a commission on space rented. But on no account will photos be posted between Good Friday and Easter Sunday during mass times. Don't mention this to Killian because it might be illegal.

That's a good thing considering you don't have any space left to post them
