Pat, what browser are you using?
I've tried a in a number of ways and it works fine.
What size (filesize) are the photos? The limit is 3Mb (which should be enough unless your photos are massive)

oh, and here's a lovely Morris traveller...

Hi Killian

Using Firefox.

The photos I took on my smartphone are 3.99mb when I upload them to my laptop.

That may be the problem.

It's posting now but a bit longer than normal. See below.

My picture size in my camera is set to 4:3 (13M) whatever that means.

Could that be the reason why my photo uploads here are so large?

Any suggestions?

The picture size (3.99MB in your example) is most likely why it didn't load for you. However, you should have been shown a notification dialog like the one in the image below...

No warning message like that Killian.

Just a pop up box saying to be patient whilst uploading the photo.

As you can see I'm able to post a photo but it comes out very large.

If that's not a problem then thats ok for me.

I don't post too many photos anyway.

Pat

I had been told about it a few weeks ago, planned to attend and in the end completely forgot about it until I saw the news last night.
Ah well. Too much of a good thing...
