Love upsets in the World Cup.
Russia beating favourites Spain after penalty shoot out. Spain over 1000 passes but very few of them did any damage. Cracking game now Croatia vs Denmark. |

Looking forward to Brazil and Mexico. Although - I'm really keen on both of them, sadly one of them be going home after today. I can't really split them in my mind (although I suppose I'm a tiny bit in favour of Mexico - they keep going so far and no further in World Cups, would love to see them progress).
Ok so, I am officially up for Mexico in this game. But, may the best team win. |

That's true Joey, kudos to Belgium, must have looked bleak for them and they dragged themselves back from the brink. Be interesting to watch their further progress - Hazard and De Bruyne not talking it seems, trouble at mill? Anyway, can't wait for the rest of the matches. The whole thing will be over before we know it, sadly

Lol, I had the same thought earlier BP
 Switzerland and Sweden on the telly now, not inspiring. Have bit of work to do, doing it in the kitchen with match on inside... But no distractions for tonight! I really don't know which of em will take it, don't know much about some of the Columbians; England have a good squad on paper, but I don't trust Walker (guaranteed to get a card/give a stupid free away; or Stones for that matter, despite his goals the other night - inclined to miss easy balls/chances). Pickford a slightly unknown quantity at this level... Who am I up for? Well, I take the view that these guys are love-figures (or hate-figures lol depending on who you support) all season, so I will be shouting for them I guess. But if they lose I won't be entirely devastated !!! It's actually the English commentators get on my wick. If they weren't so utterly and totally jingoistic it would be easier just to support England and leave it at that ... But those guys make it difficult. Anyway, one way or the other I can't wait ...

Great win for Sweden. The Swiss are a decent side.
RR, FEEL the same re England. Don't mind if they win or lose. I refuse to watch BBC or ITV. Their panels are so biased and full of crap. RTE for me every game. |

Haven't listened to Hope yet.
I sit out at half time with a cuppa and read a chapter. I see from the trending on my phone that she's getting mixed reviews. Especially predicting Brazil v France in semis. |

Delighted that England won - or at least that Columbia lost. Dirty gets, most of the match they just wanted to spoil and cheat. They are a good team but not interested in displaying their skills until way too late in the match. Hopefully England learnt lessons from this and will be better again against Sweden...
