Only good thing I can say about Extreme they put on a good performance at the Freddie Mercury tribute concert back in 92. They done a whole 15 set of Queen music and slipped that Crappy More than Words song in with Love of my life song....
But Softlad liked them. Where are they now ??? Who cares... P |

Extreme is the name of a so called Rock band from the 90's. They had a hit with "More than Words" and one or two others that I can't recall.

A pretend rock band from about 91. A bit like Europe - pretty, blonde, long locks, men. Their 'hit' was a song called "More than Words" which was basically a cunning plan to get their girlfriends to sleep with them to prove they loved them coz it would mean so much more to them than to be told by them that they loved them.....hence the title - geddit? Sorry you asked? |

The sunny part that T's rain cloud isn't going near! No seriously the quiet undeveloped bit to the west of Costa del Sol. Thats the Coast of the Sun and it better bloody live up to its name or I'll be seriously peed off. (Not that I'll be out in the sun - but I'll sit in the shade and admire how sunny it is!)

rolo, don't listen to a word those other two are saying. extreme happened to be the most prominent band out of boston since aerosmith. like other also very talented outfits they hads the misfortune to have the teenyboppers jump onboard a song of theirs and suddenly take them global before they were ready for it. their sound could be decscribed as a funk rock sound, they've a brass section in a few tracks. more than words happened to stay at number two in the uk charts for 8 weeks and was only kept off the top by bryan adams 'everything i do....' sh*te. their singer gary cherone also had a stint with van halen when hagar left and nuno bettencourt has regularly featured in the top ten list of classic rocks guitarist poll. check out his widowmaker stuff, excellent. second album 'pornograffitti' had three other successful singles on it. i've caught them live on four occasions (including the monsters of rock festival in donington) and they've been great each time. |

A free bar !!!!!! can't you put your wedding off for one week haven't been to a wedding for ages....all I get invited to these days is 40th birthdays and none have been in Spain....except my hubby's and thats because I surprised him with tickets for the barcelona Grand Prix.
