"Forgotten Love"
One of the best movies I've ever seen. This is the Google story line. A respected surgeon professor Rafal Wilczur, who, abandoned by his wife, falls victim to a mugging and as a result of his injuries loses his memory.. Years later, poor and still suffering from amnesia, he meets his daughter. It is a touching story about love that overcomes all obstacles and makes people destined for each other find their way to one another.

Looked at a horror film last night - "Hellraiser". If you ever come across it dont bother - ridiculous crap. Tried to stick it out to the end but got sick of it and turned it off...

A nine-year-old boy experiences love, laughter, and loss as he comes of age amid the music and social tumult of the late 1960s. Absolutely true life movie set in the late 60's Belfast at the beginning of the "Troubles" Good soundtrack as well. Naturally Van Morrison features.

This is excellent. The new Netflix movie The Killer is a stylish new thriller starring Michael Fassbender as a stoic and ruthlessly efficient international hitman. When a hit goes wrong, his very detached and methodical life begins to fall apart. The film from director David Fincher and also features Tilda Swinton. If you like The Smiths they feature on the soundtrack.

First movie of 2024 last night. Super movie based on true facts about the Malaysian army's heroic efforts to save US troops trapped by insurgents in Mogadishu in 1993 during the "Black Hawk Down" incident. Their success was shamefully not recognized by the USA until 20 years later.
