No nothing to do with Lady Chatterly and no nudity.

We loved this movie.

And it's a true to life story that in my opinion usually makes for interesting viewing.

Let me know what you think if you watch it.
May be going to hell in a bucket but at least I'm enjoying the ride.

If there's no nudity then I'm not interested.

kiddin'--sounds like my wife's kinda movie. I watched ten minutes and it (very busy at work Geek) looks gripping. She still goes on about that Sally Field "Not Without my Daughter" movie. I wish someone would kidnap my kids.

Gripping is a good description.

Had us going through the emotions throughout the movie.

Tonight's movie "Land".

Touching movie about a very depressed woman who retreats to an isolated cabin after a family tragedy but struggles to survive until a hunters arrival offers hope to help her to heal.

Very enjoyable and quite moving.

Filmed in Alberta, Canada the scenery is stunning.

"The Forgotten Battle"

Set during WWII's crucial Battle of the Scheldt.

A Gritty war film, this intense historical snapshot of brutal combat contains a ton of violence, blood, gore, shooting, fighting, stabbing, ...

One of the best war movies I've ever seen.

Warning : It's quite graphic in its violence but very true to what actually happened.

"The Forever Purge"

Violent action about an organized group of Americans called Purgers who set out to cleanse all American cities of anybody who is not a full blooded American. Shades of  Nazi Jew extermination.

A possible glimpse into the future of internal hatred and violence within America?

"Remains Of The Day"

Great movie with a great cast set in England on the 30's before WW2.

A head butler (Anthony Hopkins) loyal to his master looks back in later years to mistakes made by his master's Nazi sympathies and missed his chance of love through his dedication to his duties.

"Stillwater"

Another gripping movie from Netflix.

An American oil-rig roughneck travels to Marseille, France, to visit his estranged daughter, in prison for a murder she claims she didn't commit. Confronted with language barriers, cultural differences and a complicated legal system, he soon builds a new life for himself as he makes it his personal mission to exonerate her.

"A Man Called Otto"

Tom Hanks is brilliant in this 2022 movie.

Funny and sad, it's just brilliant about a grumpy old widower who mellows after new neighbours move in across the road from him.

Shades of Gran Torino.

"Man On Fire".

Set in Mexico City involving the kidnapping of a child.

Statistics say a child is kidnapped every 60 minutes in Latin America.

Linda Ronstadt features on the soundtrack.
