"Locked In"

Very good movie full of deceit, intrigue, murder and suspense.

May be going to hell in a bucket but at least I'm enjoying the ride.

"Forgotten Love"

One of the best movies I've ever seen.

This is the Google story line.

A respected surgeon professor Rafal Wilczur, who, abandoned by his wife, falls victim to a mugging and as a result of his injuries loses his memory.. Years later, poor and still suffering from amnesia, he meets his daughter. It is a touching story about love that overcomes all obstacles and makes people destined for each other find their way to one another.

I dont believe its a true story Sean - maybe the general storyline or parts of it are based vaguely on a true story or stories, but no, not the stuff in that film...

Sean

This is from Google.

Though it may seem unlikely, this gripping thriller is indeed based on a true story. Having said that, the creators have also taken some creative liberties to appeal to a larger audience. The Revenant is based on the highly recognised figure in American history, Hugh Glass.

Gerry

That sounds like the perfect arrangement.

Nice one when close friends travel together and understand each other whilst away.

what put me off that movie was that they said it's a true story...nobody could survive the things he went through...

Cheers Pat, we are having a ball - dunno if I said there are 6 of us (3 couples, similar in age), very good friends, who usually travel together. We do lots as a group but we also have plenty of time to ourselves as individual couples or by ourselves, so no pressures. Works very well. At the moment 4 are in town, Annetteis down by the pool, I am elsewhere avoiding the sun, catching up on friends and correspondence like this. We'll meet up in a while for lunch/couple of beers, then break for couple of hours maybe back in the room, them come together again around  7 for dinner and rest of the evening with the group... So we're not in one anothers' ears the whole time... WinkSmile

Hi Gerry.

I remember when the Revenant came out and got great reviews.

Never saw it till the other night.

You're dead right. Avoid the TV whilst away. Focus on enjoying yourselves.

We very seldom turn on the TV when we're on holiday.

So enjoy the rest of your trip.
