The outpouring of sadness for Kobi Bryant is really amazing here.
USA basketball is huge here, obvious American influence over the years. Philippine YouTube and shows full of the mans life. Personally I never liked basketball but I am blown away by the response here to the passing of an obvious basketball legend. |

There were quite a few Irish around tonight.
We Irish are everywhere 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪. And most neutrals supporting Ireland. And there was the usual Irish banter. Next door a band were playing the theme to Titanic when the All Blacks drove nails into our rugby coffin so us Irish sang along. That's the great thing of being Irish. Win, lose or draw we'll have the craic 🍻🍻🍻 |

... However, if we beat Denmark in the Aviva, seemingly we are through (short of some bizarre sequence of events in other matches which I have decided to discount cos I don't understand them !!!)Soloooooooo.....
