Rolo, just looked up Magazine and sorry we missed them - didn't know it was Howard Devoto (must dig out my Buzzcocks tape) - but with 200 gigs over the weekend, couldn't see everything.
Heard good reports about Bat for Lashes, Bell X1, Imelda May, Flaming Lips and more. Billy Bragg played too. Chic, the '70s Disco group were meant to be brilliant. Expected Seasick Steve to be laid back, but he was hopping around the stage and the drummer was like a hippy Keith Moon! great stuff. |

That's a pity Roundy. Saw them in Manchester in February,their first gig in 28 years and it was deadly. Devoto still has it. |

I heard the picnic being broadcast on 2fm and Madness (whom I never was a huge fan of)
sounded just brilliant! Would have liked to have seen Lisa Hannigan-love her soft voice. Nice pic Roundy. Will try to get some of the Mac up next month. |

Cool pics Martin, second time seeing Journey in a year here, excellent again, but Arnel's no Steve "THE Voice of Journey" Perry, Def Leppard were very good, but Whitesnake should've headlined! Mr. Coverdale, the master!
