There are any number of songs I could pick (including slow) but I still cant think of a better start to a song than the intro to "Smoke on the Water"
- bliss! Edited by finno |

Mine is Home Thoughts from Abroad by Clifford T Ward. I still have a little cry when I hear it.

Very Hard to Choose, but I will go with She Sells Sanctuary by The Cult. Very close runners up were Paranoid (Sabbath), Black Betty (Ram Jam, More than a Feeling (Boston) & Rock & Roll (Zeppelin). |

Tough one Mel to narrow it down to even 20 songs but the Carpet Crawlers sprang to mind first
mainly because a few of us were mad into Genesis (pre '77), had never heard any airplay apart from our own LPs. We were amazed to hear it at the Grove. then there's Ripples too! and...... |

Well, if you had to pick ONE song that you most like from the Grove, what would it be? I was trying to find a thread that already covered this but I couldnt see one. (I also think its no harm to re-ignite some old Grove threads/topics). My favourite song, as some of you already know, is La Grange by ZZ Top. How about you?
