They were the better team ,The Dubs had no plan B ,were doing well until Donegal came out to play ,if we only put one off our goal chances away i think the game would have been ours ,,lots of if,s .I hope they go on to win against Kerry now ,the shock of this summer

Frank, saw that on TV today. Thought Kilkenny were going to come back near the end. Great game.
May be going to hell in a bucket but at least I'm enjoying the ride.

Very sad to read about the death of Dave Billings. A lovely guy. He was in my class in Joey's in 1971 and was a great character. RIP Dave.

Dublin GAA and beyond is in mourning following the sudden death of Dave Billings.

Billings, renowned as a hugely affable character, was a part of Dublin's panel in 1974 when they won a breakthrough All-Ireland under Kevin Heffernan but it was perhaps in his role as a GAA officer in UCD and a selector with Dublin senior football teams in more recent years that he will be best remembered.

St Vincent's man was part of management teams under Tommy Lyons and Paul Caffrey as Dublin reasserted their dominance in Leinster, winning five provincial titles between 2002 and '08.

His tireless work in UCD meant that a broad section of hurlers and footballers from across the country passed through his hands at Belfield and there was a massive outpouring of emotion and affection for the 63-year-old on Twitter as news of his passing broke this morning.

May be going to hell in a bucket but at least I'm enjoying the ride.

Sound man, always had a word or two if you happened to be standing beside him on the sideline.

RIP Dave.

I remember when Dublin won f**k all.

Now we beat Longford 4-25 to 0-9., correct me if I'm wrong.

And may be crowned Leinster champions later, which in my day was an achievement in itself.

To win an All Ireland is the goal, not achieved last year.

So let's be hearing from the Dub's on here, no complacency............

Oh, you don't to be a signed up GAA Club supporter to be a Dub's fan..........we all love our local city club to win, like back in '63 when Dublin beat a great Galway team..................

I took the young fella to the match and him being from Kildare was not happy with the result.

Still, for me, despite the result for the Dubs, it wasn't a great match - there was no challenge so after a few minutes it was a done deal. No fan would choose to see a slaughter like that over a good competitive match.

Meath Vs Westmeath on the other hand was a brilliant game with the bookies favourites losing out to the underdog following some red bull at half time.

Agree Killian.

Too easy for Dublin.

Meath v Westmeath was a great game. Fair play to Westmeath.
