Was in a pub called O'Neills in Bournemouth watching the Dubs beat Kerry.
Super atmosphere.......... Come on ye boys in BLUE Perfect weekend Ireland won in the Rugby. Dubs won Sam. Man United beat Southampton and Bournemouth beat Sunderland. Pity I'm not a betting man? |

Gaelic football has become so predictable and boring.
What ever happened to the great midfield battles, e.g Des Foley vs Mick O'Connell? Short passes out of defence, sweepers and the like............ Love when Dublin win but the game is dying............ |

Agreed Joey.
The hurling game so much more exciting than the football. Just hope the footballers aren't getting complacent. They looked laboured when confronted with a "blanket" defense. |

Agree Killian.
Too easy for Dublin. Meath v Westmeath was a great game. Fair play to Westmeath. |

I took the young fella to the match and him being from Kildare was not happy with the result.
Still, for me, despite the result for the Dubs, it wasn't a great match - there was no challenge so after a few minutes it was a done deal. No fan would choose to see a slaughter like that over a good competitive match. Meath Vs Westmeath on the other hand was a brilliant game with the bookies favourites losing out to the underdog following some red bull at half time.

I remember when Dublin won f**k all.
Now we beat Longford 4-25 to 0-9., correct me if I'm wrong. And may be crowned Leinster champions later, which in my day was an achievement in itself. To win an All Ireland is the goal, not achieved last year. So let's be hearing from the Dub's on here, no complacency............ Oh, you don't to be a signed up GAA Club supporter to be a Dub's fan..........we all love our local city club to win, like back in '63 when Dublin beat a great Galway team.................. Sound man, always had a word or two if you happened to be standing beside him on the sideline.
RIP Dave.
