Two photos from my recent trip to Boracay Island.

First in in a bar called Nigi Nigi's and behind me is the resident band. A truly great band that Grovers would love. They are incredibly talented.

My John Fogerty t-shirt was worn that night and as they were playing Creedence "Have You Ever Seen The Rain" (hugely popular here) the actually handed me the mike and I gave it a blem.

Greatful thanks to Sean Carroll aka Pogue Mahoney for this t-shirt.

The second photo aboard my flight was taken to celebrate Woodstock's 50th anniversary. As folks on here know I call Woodstock the greatest musical event in history and as it was the 15th August I decided to advertise it. And I continue to wear it for 3 full days in the spirit of the original festival.

Of course there is a link between the two t-shirts. Creedence Clearwater Revival, my total favourite band, were the first to sign up for Woodstock and opened the way for all the other artists to follow suit.

May be going to hell in a bucket but at least I'm enjoying the ride.

Lovely photos and cool T-shirts!

FYI - a recent documentary about Woodstock (in German and some English language  - with really great original film coverage from planning stages to end - and music):
Woodstock - Three days that shaped a generation

(be patient at the start until it downloads)
