Nobody on this darn earth can sing a story like Red Sovine:

Listening to "UK Tour live 1975" - Thin Lizzy
May be going to hell in a bucket but at least I'm enjoying the ride.

The 1975 album predates Jailbreak but still it's a great live album.

They do Cowboy Song (off Jailbreak) as a new song which Phil announces they haven't named the song yet.

Gerry,

I don't know much about Nutini.

Saw him playing on tv at some festival about 2006 and I liked what I heard and just went out and bought These Streets album.

I like it a lot.

He's had other albums since and they've done well but haven't bought any of them.

Listening to a double CD of Elton John.

This guy produced some seriously great music.

Love it.

Yeah Pat, not a fan of everything he's done - but some of his stuff was absolutely super I have to say ...seems he has "walking pneumonia" right now, having to cancel gigs. I wonder is that related to the boogie-woogie flu ?!!

Wouldn't have liked all his stuff either but this covers a lot of the best he did.

Never heard of walking pneumonia before.

Normally you can't walk if you laid low with pneumonia.

Hope he recovers because he's on his last world tour.

Hahahahaha Pogue . Is that walking pneumonia guy a really good comedian or a really, REALLY, brutal singer songwriter ?!! I'd like to think it's the former but suspect it's the latter ?
