Skeletons From The Closet - The Grateful Dead.
A best of The Grateful Dead album. For me one of the great legendary bands, like The Band. The Dead didn't give a f**k about commercial success, they toured and toured, had a massive following. Here's a track that you all may know.............. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pafY6sZt0FE |

Here's another DeadHead song... only funny because it was sung on the Lawrence Welk Show and they obviously don't understand the lyrics...

"Live Dates" - Wishbone Ash.
From 1973, one of the great "live" albums. Came out as a double vinyl album. If you like screaming twin lead guitars...................you'll get your rocks off to this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Uh9j3j0ZcI |

Slightly off topic but the album I'm planning on listening to a lot later (and in the coming weeks) will be Paul Simon's Ultimate collection. Don't have ANY of his stuff in my collection at all and the double album (on vinyl), whcih is only around €20, has loads of his solo stuff and also some Simon and Garfunkel tunes, so I reckon it's good place to start. |
