Anyone listening to the new Kings of Leon album? Loved their last one and hoping this one is as good.

I don't actually have that album, although I know quite a few of the tracks off it. Have quite a few CD's of theirs though..mostly since Everything must Go, but none of the rest of them equalled EMG and TIMTTMY for me, although Know Your Enemy has grown on me.

Listening to "Billie's Bones" - Janis Ian (2004). If you like Janis, you will love this. Have been listening to it over the last few days in work. Aren't mp3s handy?

If you would like to hear a track from this album see link below

Yeah MP3 are great. In the new car(don't worry not complaining about the car) I have a connection that I can connect up my MP3 player in the car. I was thinging of getting a big MP3 player and leaving it the glove compartment. Other problem with MP3 is that I have over 100 gig of them now and don't when I will get the time to listen to them all. I have my MP3 backed up about 3 times on different HARD DRIVES Any one looking for any albums give me a shout I may have it somewhere

Was able to help an ex colleague of mine last week. He now works for Sony / BMG so he sent me the following in the post:

The Best Of Santana

Destinys Child No 1's

Truely Madly Completely best of Savage garden

Anastacia Pieces of a Dream

the VERY best of Michael Bolton............

and last but by no means least

Julio Iglesias Love Songs !!!!!!!!!!!!

So have decided I am going to listen to them all at least once and see wot I think as I wouldnt have bought any of them myself.

Going to start with Santana and work my way down to Julio

He's married to Nicollette Sheridan (Edie in Desperate Housewives).

What that has to do with anything I don't know.

He was in the running in the late 80's to sing for Journey after Steve Perry's departure.

God,can you imagine it?

Blondie, believe it or not, but the Savage Garden one is actually quite good....Darren Hayes (lead singer from SG) went solo afterwards and produced one of the sweetest songs I've ever heard called "So Beautiful" - it is fantastic! (and I wouldnt have been a SG fan by any means!) - you should check it out!

As for M.B - oh crikey! I'd put him in the same bracket as our monobrowed friend for schoomzy cheesy songs! Oh god, when I think of that 80's mullet he had for years......how on earth women thought he was sexy I'll never know!

I know Donal - its scary! But alas, in the late 80's / early 90's there were poor unfortunate women across the globe that found Michael Boltan attractive! I was not one of them!!!!! URGH!!!!!
