The brilliant part of this video is the motion in the background. Even Hitchcock couldn't choreograph this--where are these people off to in such a rush?
IMHO Allie is the best thing since sliced bread, 10 times better than Bono or Phil .

Been listening to all sorts over the last few days - depending on the mood - Sabbath, Allman Brothers, Marillion, John Martyn, Ace and an Island "sampler" from the early 70s.

Ah Gerry, music is the soul of life no matter who you listen to.
It's great having favourite artists that turn you on when you listen to them and other artists that may not be favourites but have a number of great songs you like. Was never mad on the Clash but that album I have has some great songs I really like. Have a rockin' Sunday. Stormy here today with rain but warm so we tried out a new restaurant overlooking the beach aptly names STORM for the day that's in it.π Edited by Biker Pat - 25-October-2020 at 11:55 |

Having a great time to yourself there Pat! Maybe 2 or 3 times a week I get into that groove, and listen to great tunes for a couple of hours. I tend to go to YouTube and select individual tracks and listen vis earphones - but same happy, rockin' result!
I am currently listening to the Clash, PJ Harvey (swoon!), Led Zep, and a few other old favourites... |

Heading out for a bit of scran now.
It's 15.19 here so we're now 8 hours ahead of Ireland. Before heading out am blemming Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Bad Moon Rising - The Collection". No matter how many times I listen to CCR they still excite and amaze me. When I think John Fogerty was in his late teens to early 20's am in awe of his musical talent and songwriting abilities. |

Saw him in the Point circa 2003.
Possibly same concert Gerry. Was right at the front and was just gobsmacked at his guitar playing, no spectrum. And his voice ain't half bad either. Fleetwood Mac are not the same without him. |

He's a fabulous guitarist Pat. You'll remember at the F. Mac gig they played in Dublin some years back, he got a number of spontaneous standing ovations for solos had did. I have rarely, if ever now that I think of it, seem that at a seated concert. Ok, the guy loves himself all right, but so would I if I had his talent ! π
