Blondie.....all of our dress sense back in the '80's was crap...so
don't think you were on your own. I was always a jeans and boots
girl...and stilll am... and then
suddenly to have to wear a dress(white at that) for your debs was just
out of character.....mine was white with frills, mind you so was my
wedding dress, so I guess I didn't learn from my mistakes....

Star, Fair play to you. I could only tell the twins apart by a beauty spot Declan had on his cheek! I always got them mixed up. They used to love pretending to be each other. Though as I recall it backfired once on Declan, Gavin got barred from Bruxelles and gave Declan's name but never told Declan

Upon my recent travels back to de native shore I stumbled upon some of my 21st photos....so I have a few of the old Grove Goers including Marcus and probably a few others that some might recognise. My problemo now is that I need the foolproof D.I.Y easy step by step guide of how to post them.......so if anyone has de patience to explain I will be grateful!

Ann,
Do you have a flatbed scanner (or a printer which has a fax/scanner device built into it ?). Usually it's as simple as putting the photos face down on the glass of the flatbed scanner and starting the scanner program/application which came with the printer/scanner. Usually there is a single button or menu item to start scanning. The scanner may prompt you where to put the file it creates for each scanned photo. Choose some new folder in your "My Pictures" folder or somewhere else convenient. When you've finished scanning a few photos go to the folder and check if the files created are "JPG" or "TIFF" format. Ideally they should be "JPG" so that they can be posted here. Posting them is as simple as using the little photo icon in the "Post reply" edit box which Killian has made available on this forum and just choosing the correct file which you wish to "attach" to your post. I think you can attach multiple per each post. I hope I haven't made it too complicated. The only part which may be tricky for you to perfect is just identifying your scanner software (if you've never used it before) and commanding it to scan each photo as you place them face down on the scanner glass plate. --Ian |
