Re-union time again! Was driving home from work today and Marty Miller (98fm) said 'Here's one from the Grove' and played Whole of the Moon-what a feeling!

Then come home to see the tix are on sale for Hallowe'en! Cooooll!

So-does BR's CD's make like a good playlist? What do you wanna hear?

Really would love some Horslips this time. Trouble or Dearg Doom.

Suggestions?

Did you know the Horselips drummer Eamon Carr went to the Grove.

He lived just off Harmonstown Road

Yeah Gary-Eamon knew Tonto's brother,Dave, who lived down from Harmonstaown Road, and in fact gave him a pair of his sticks, which on numerous occassions I've tried to smuggle out of their house.

Does anyone have a vinyl copy of (now collectors item) Happy to Meet,Sorry to Part?

Oh,and as another suggestion,Stay with me til Dawn for the slowies...a classic song which had a thread all of it's own here once upon a time...

Has anyone heard Spiderbait's version of Black Betty? I reckon it's better than Ram Jams and would go down a treat at a reunion.

Hi all,

Just this minute checked out the Grove forum, Oh my god! Flash back time!!! It was amazing! I don't live near the reunion place so I don't have the pleasure! Sorry. I am an ex grover from 1978 to 1981 0r 82 ish? Good times, lots of snogging and fumbling? And the lipgloss! My favourite was Peppermint. Now I am a boring middle aged MUM ( according to my sons) Once upon a time I was having a pretty good time! Sigh! I am so melancholic now!

Suemago.

Hey Sue!

Welcome aboard.  This place is just like "Hotel California" (as one of our posters, Biker Pat, once said) - "you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave"..

You're not *that* far from the reunions by the way, many of us wander down from the outskirts of Dublin and beyond...you should come along, you wont be disappointed!
