That should be interesting.
From what I've read good old Bill could never keep his you know what in his trousers. And not just Monica. He's ridden more winners than Willie Carson 😂😂😂 |

Indeed, lol! 🐎🐎
Patterson calls Bill "Mr. President" if they are out in public together, but calls him Bill in private! |

"Sleeper Cell" - Jeffrey Anderson
Written in 2005 it's a book about Islamic terrorists developing a virus to wipe out the USA who they perceive as "the great satan". Superb read and extremely prophetic considering the world we live in since 2020 with the coronavirus. A quote from the start of the book. "With safeguards now in place, it is all but impossible to kill a million Americans without using nuclear weapons" A US Biodefense Command internal memo. Hmm, they're thinking differently now and in my view biological warfare is more deadly than conventional warfare now. |

Interesting stuff above Pat. I might seek out that Gareth O Callaghan book actually.
Just coming to the end of reading about 15 John Grisham books lent to me by one of my kind neighbours. Sounds a lot, but no burden at all, I am a huge Grisham fan. Also dipping in and out (some bits for a second time at this stage!) of Taylor's (Patrick) book Footsteps - an entertaining read indeed... |

Have read some of Grisham but I read so many books that I forget the titles 😥😥.
Not read any of Patrick's yet. Not sure how I can from here. |

Theres loads of those classic books I've never read Mel - Dracula, Frankenstein, most of the Dickens stuff. We did a couple of classics in English for the Inter and Leaving certs(as I'm sure you did also) and I think "having" to read and study them put me off books from bygone eras for life...
... but these things become classics for a reason I guess. Let's know how you get on with Dracula 😊 |

The judges list - John Grisham - at the moment. Finding it hard work tbh. I love Grisham but maybe I'm too used to his style...

Read 2 great books recently. 1. Are You Somebody - Nuala O'Faolain A truly brilliant and honest but disturbing book at times. 2. I Am Brian Wilson - Brian Wilson An account of his life and the turmoil he suffered through depression, drugs, obesity and bullying from his father and a Dr Landy who controlled him just like Colonal Parker did with Elvis. Great insight into Wilson's musical brain. Amazingly familiar theme of depression and parental issues running through both books. |
