Currently the forum loads 10 posts per page. This was ideal when the forum was new and nobody was about. However, the bunch of addicts on here everyday doing their best to increase their daily post count means that often it can require going through several pages per thread if you manage to pull yourself away from here for a few days.
So, should I double the amount of posts per page keeping both the above and also dial-up users in mind?

KB,

I think increase to 20.

There's so many posts on the Forum now that is you miss a day you've lost the plot, especially on the Chat Room thread.

I'm also a member of the John Fogerty forum and on that you're able to see all the topics you last posted on. A sort of summary of your activity. Is that possible here?

In other words if I posted on a certain thread I can go back to the last post I made on that thread quickly instead of back paging all the time to get back to where I left off. Make sense?

Also can you make the system default to cover topics for the last month as some topics are now getting lost on back pages. New members may not see some of those topics that may interest them.

I think a tidy up of the forum might be needed. I mentioned this before.

There's loads of topics that are old and have only a few replies,if any.

Just a few thoughts.

May be going to hell in a bucket but at least I'm enjoying the ride.

I will be updating the forum in the next few weeks (things on another forum I run have swallowed up my time - e.g. BMW AG are threatning to sue me!).
I will upgrade it to a faster database and a new forum software version. The last post feature is in that IIRC.

As for the last month - it was originally set up to show the last year. If I change it to month (or last 2 weeks) many threads last posted to outside that epriod would not be visible. Are you wanting that?

KB, I know everybody here appreciates all the work you put into running the Forum.

In your own time my friend.

Given the post count I'll up it to 20 now.
As for the other popints, I will be on top of it all quite soon.

Yeah Killian, I'll second that, all we ever do is ask ya to do stuff and all ya ever seem to do is to do it.

Thanks again,

Rolo.
