The website's backend database has just been upgraded. If you notice any weird issues or errors over the next few days, please let me know below (copying any error messages if possible please). |

The page forward and active topics appears to work fine for me. If anything it should be quicker than the last version. |

@ BrendanFella - tell them to try a different browser first to see if that makes a difference e.g. Firefox or Safari. Also maybe delete cookies (assuming they are using Internet Explorer, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/278835 - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/278835 ) As for the speed issue, keep an eye on the text at the bottom of the page. For me now (for this page), it reads However, long threads will normally take longer as the paging has to take place as well as the other thread stuff (i.e. there is a lot of work going on behind the scenes). However, I'll refine it ASAP.

Hey guys have just noticed that I seem to be stuck on 284 posts for a long long time even though I've been 'talking' on the site. Is the 'count' disabled - - not that i'm trying to get older but wondering when I'll get to be a really really senior member and won't get there if 284 is the limit for me?

There are two anti-spam measures within the software: * minimum interval between posts (currently disabled) * max number of posts within a set period (currently 5 posts in 3 minutes) I'll disable the second now. -------------

Pat, I think the accessability (or lack of it) to the "Chat" thingy at the top of the page is very much affected by the browser you use. I have great difficulty with the Chat yoke if I use Google Chrome but it works fine with 'regular' google (for me anyway). Like you though, I would also like to know how to hyperlink the links that I place on this site. What browser are you using? The above should work nonetheless. I've attached a file below (test.txt) which contains the code. Open the file (it will probably open up in notepad) and select all text (press the Ctrl and A keys together), copy the text (Ctrl and C) and then in a new message box here, past it in (Ctrl and V).
