Hi Pat,
Just got this from Gordon. Pat & the band will be playing with Taste members John Wilson on drums, Sam Ellis on bass, and Sam Taylor on lead guitar and vocals, Ive seen these guys and this is the ultimate blues enthusiasts or Rory fans show, Gordon It's The Slaughtered Lamb in Swords on 7th November. No other details as of yet. Unfortunately I'll be gone away at this stage so I hope you enjoy the night. Pat ------------- May be going to hell in a bucket but at least I'm enjoying the ride. Hows things goin in grove land for you, ment to say to you if any grovers
want me to reserve tickets for the gig they can mail me or phone me on
0864012690. The tickets are €10 and include a free pint of miller on us! Doors
are at 7.30pm and it will be sold out, tickets will be available from me or the
lamb in a week or so, we want to make sure all the regulars are sorted out
before they are available to anyone else.
Im sorry you cant make it, it's going to be a unreal night,

Was a very good night, Taste were really good, playing several Rory classics, What's going on, Messing with the kid and the amazing Bullfrog Blues to finish. Pat was as good as we have come to expect and played a great set. Apologies to Mary for being a little late and can't believe I allowed the other lot drag me for chips too. Willpower out the window. Oh, and Joan, Hope you are still talking to me.

Well, sounds like a good night, but I do wonder about the consistency of some of my Groving colleagues. Sorry guys only catching up here now and no Ronan I'm not talking to you I cant believe you took them down I wouldnt mind I seriously edited first thought I had left all the really imcriminating out !!!!!!!! After Mary and Brian I was the best behaved out of the lot of you !!!!! Well at least until that bloody captain appeared and caution got thrown to the wind you should have made me have the coke as well And Joey as long as you havent forgotten what you promised me that night I will agree to let it stay on tour so to speak Have to agree great value gor money night ever even included food on the way home. Highlight for me , musically that is, was Taste they were fantastic would definately go and see them again.

Sounds like ye all had a great time - hated missing it, but (promise I'll spare ye the details) being minus a big toenail, it was a non-runner (!) Messing with the Kid and Bullfrog Blues were the last songs played on many a great Sunday night in St Paul's and ye got free beer and chips on the way home too - does it get any better?
