Right all you would be designers. I'm looking for a design for the "ORIGIONAL GROVE" TEE and POLO shirts Not wanting to influence anyone I think however the design should be in keeping with the whole spirit of the site and reunions. I think it should contain the following Years 67-97 and maybe the wall logo used at the reunions and anything else that you feel appropriate. The tee should be front and back the POLO small front ( and back if you think it should ) ------------- THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE BUT IT'LL PISS YOU OFF FIRST |

one of t shirts wqould be very expensive - i remember enquiring before about team shirts for the race team and the more you buy the cheaper they work out at. buying < 10 might work out at 30 quid a t shirt, buying > 50 might work out at 15 quid a t shirt. ------------- work. the curse of the drinking classes!

Why not go with what is on the stage back drop at every Grove reunion? It looks class, everyone has seen it & I can guarantee that everyone would buy it. Plain black tee with white text and the oposite for a white tee. Lenny3fingers tee is good but its not very Grovey! Keep it simple. The Grove 67-97 spray paint look always looks the biz. Golf is a great idea for next summer. Could have an outing and make a few bob for a Charity as well. But back to the tees. I think the backdrop is great but DOES anyone own it i.e. did someone patient it or anything. Or does someone have a better idea ???? I would hate to walk on someones toes and be told to F ---Off. What about the back of the shirt ???? Plain or --------- If its cool to use the logo has anyone got a good photo of it or something we can get into a computer ?? If so I can run it by the contact I got today and give a final price ??

I think the avatar's, though a nice idea, could be quite expensive, not to mention impractical. I'd go with the Grove logo idea if Crusty's up for it. If people really want to identify themselves at the reunions, something I've seen done before that's cheap and easy is a laminate, like a backstage pass. It could have the same logo as the t-shirt, with a space where the person's name/username can be written before being laminated. The idea worked quite effectively at other meet-ups I've been too. Top idea Gary - great suggestions from everyone I think go with a standard order for eveyrone. I may even get me name added myself - people can personalise them later if they want. Great idea Gary - I'd go for the logo too. I saw someone a few months back wearing one. (I think they were done for the pre launch of the Documentary) If anyone wanted to personalise theirs, check out t-shirt transfer paper you print the picture on it then iron it onto the shirt. I've made t shirts for the kids and the picture stays put even after a year of washings! |

For me the backdrop of the reunions '67-'97 and username on back. Then when we go to the reunions everybody will know everybody and will make it easier to recognise the different individuals. ------------- May be going to hell in a bucket but at least I'm enjoying the ride. Some girls feel the v-neck is more flattering...I agree but I suppose we should wait to see whats available before getting too choosey. Black would probably be a winner with everyone. At the end of the day a basic black round neck style would be fine too. The 'Grove' logo will look great and people can personalise after that themselves. I loved the style of the breast cancer campaign t-shirts that BT's and A-wear sold. They came in a lovely vest style and a standard t-shirt but, honestly I'll go with whatever is available to us on the day and thanks Gary for all the effort |

I second what the ladies were saying earlier about the V-neck t-shirt for women....especially for those of us that have ample cleavage - wearing a round neck makes you look like you have one giant boob instead of a proper set! V-Neck much more flattering! Even my trinny and susannah book says that!!!!!

I know Killian set up thread b4 where you could donate cash for fund some charity maybe could do similar for t-shirts possibly. But then u have postage which costs a bomb. Who is doing the t-shirts do they have a website we could buy off from ???????? R take orders and payment in advance and make one bulk order.

As for distribution - just name someone with a good business head - and there are a few on this forum - cash upfront while ordering, so you will have no headaches - you will find for the time of the year you will get multiple orders for the season that is in it. Re: distribution of T-shirts.....how about on a Grove night out, such as there's been in HB's, or on a picnic, like we had in St. Annes? It should be handy enough to schedule something in time for the Easter reunion. Keep it as simple as possible for all involved...order and offload on a once off basis...that way we'll definitely have an exclusive product. I think it would be a shame for anyone to spend their reunion night distributing t-shirts and collecting money when they should be enjoying themselves!

Just a thought how about getting a copy of the backdrop and sending it on to people and letting them get tshirt transfer paper and putting it on whatever garment they want to put it on then everyone can chose their own tshirt, sweatshirt, thong or whatever and viola they have a grove item of clothing There will be no need for anyone to collect cash or distribute tshirts and get grief if tshirt is too small too big too whatever and everyone will be happy Cheers Sharon ------------- All I wanted was chips!! |

This T-Shirt idea could snowball!!!! Do we only do it for members of the website only?. Do we do T-Shirts for anyone who wants them at reunion ?. I agree with Grovegirl and Bluebell, about it been unfair someone having to distribute Tshirts on the night. Maybe just get T-Shirts for the members first, People will see us wearing them and maybe look into getting T-Shirt for Reunions nights available at the Door ??... Just thought of something when I saw Sharons idea on the DIY T-SHIRT....You can bring photos into bakeries,have them scanned and reproduced on a cake.....So there's quite possibly a similar service for T-shirts. Maybe DIY is the way to go ?

great site that spreadshirt.ie - Thanks Killian I think getting a batch made up (plan A) would work best as everyone's design would be consistent. then each could customise their own - t-shirt markers or t-shirt transfer paper. then again, there's still the choice - black or white? Cap sleeve or long or .... |

Guys I have just sent the artwork to the supplier who will phone me later today/tomorrow with details of cost and delivery dates.
