Where are people going to watch the documentary?
What about upstairs in the Cedars?

Killian, someone told me last week that the upstairs was closed now.

Not sure how true it is.

There is also the Sheeling or the Watermill. Also, if anyone has a battery operated TV we could sit in the park

Bought myself a nice bottle of red wine today and gonna keep it for Tuesday night.....gonna take the phone off the hook, snuggle down with the hubby and watch the documentary and warn the kids not to laugh..(well not too much  ). What are the rest of you doing? Are any of you guys gonna meet up to watch it together?

Like yourself, I'll be at home with family.

Want to make sure the recorder starts at the right time.

May be going to hell in a bucket but at least I'm enjoying the ride.

I'll be watching at home.

Btw did anyone post to thumped.com & boards.ie about the docu? I'm sure there's a few ex-Grovers out there, as I know there's defo a good few ex-goths by posts I made on old goth bands etc on the forums.

I've posted to iegoth - an Irish goth mailing list, as I know there's a few Grovers lurking there and a few non (down the country) but are interested.

Cousins of mine are all looking forward to it, was talking to one earlier today and she can't wait and she's hoping she recognises a few faces - they would be originally from the Sutton area.

Ah lads.

I'm still in bits! Very emotional especially during the St.Pauls's and Cecil's return.

St.Pauls still hasn't changed the paint on the walls. Yeah the cloakroom is gone as well as the railings (remember them well!) and so has the bit of grass!

The bits with the Cure and all the rockers.. brings me back - right back.

Man, I'm 16-17 again!

Texts from friends came in thick and fast, one southside said "Awaah Magic" and I spent a few mins reliving/chatting to one a few mins ago.

Yer right most Southsiders wouldn't/can't understand but now they might just get an inkling..

Btw the couple that was interviewed? The hubby is vaguely familiar - I think I refused a dance to him!

Biker Pat, classic moments!  Yeah!!

Actually all - it was brill. I can't remember the name now but the two girls that were interviewed that were my era - yer faces are familiar to me! Oh and so was yer man Ray!

Har!

Orla

P.S I've the friends on the case of the tickets..

Oh I get it Shar, that's the beauty of this place. Everyone knows someone who knew someone who remembers someone who went out with someone they knew !

Star, loved the earrings, you're some mover.

I second that! Well done!

The feelings came back. The "our corner"- yeah. From the stage looking down, the group of friends and I used to sit on the right hand side, up near the top but not too near. That was our spot!

That's the one! I think I did, but I'd have to be sure.. it's such a long long time ago.

I also remember a very tall curehead type (but not my one of my current friends) who asked me "out for air"! And a few rocker dudes and a few yer average types that wore white and blue stripped shirts!
