Our gang always called girls "chicks" in the late 70s (particularly, hippy chicks!! Heart).

Seem to remember 'freaky' as referring to something hippy-like.....e.g. I bought a freaky dress.

Also........The WOODS was St.Annes
And...'Are you into it?' which is probably still common enough...'Do you want to?.....'
'Dodgy'......Suspect in some way
'Sketchy'.....cant really remember this...something dodgy?

Oh Yeah...Hunks/fine things and Ginks  i.e. hot guys and the not so hot guys! Wink

The classic, which they mentioned in the documentary, "Do you want to go out for some air!?" (i.e. into the compound for a 'shift').

When a girl said NO to a dance the reply was....
"Sorry, I didn't see your wooden leg".......OR
"Sorry, I didn't know you were pregnant"

Except for Pogue...
He would just say.....
"Well go feck off then, and then he'd go cry somewhere.
