Welcome to the site Flowergirl, yea there are a few of us Mount Prospect Grovers here on the site, not a hell of a lot though so its great to heare from another Grover of the same era. Welcome to the forum. I'm also of the Mount Prospect generation. I went to the psychedelic shack from 1972 - 1975. Super place it was. Anyway hope you share some memories from your time there. When it was Easons' we just sat and read. Cecil introduced us all to Sarte and Guy de Maupassant. The girls were nice looking but they all wore glasses. The only reason we started dancing was because of Last Tango in Paris. |
