Folks,

Just got the following email from the band.

Grovers are being offered special concession/passes for this special event.

Those interested in going please let me know by posting here or by PM. This is a special concession to us Grovers and I can tell you there are further special gigis coming up which I cannot mention at the moment.

Hey Pat,
Firstly, thanks a million for all your support for the Bernie Marsden gigs. Just to let you know we're doing a special gig in the Slaughtered Lamb on Sunday the 26th of April @ 8pm as a launch of our new live cd/dvd album. Its called "Live...........And In Time", and was recorded on our european tour last year. As far as I know there is 100 guest passes/invitations available and as usual im trying to get the Grovers sorted out first.
It's gonna be a great night, we'll be doing a set, showing the dvd, and we'll have some copies for sale on the night at €15 for the double live cd/dvd pack. When it comes out in the shops they will be charging around €22 for it, so personally i'd like to see you guys getting a bit of value first!!
I really hope your crew can make it and help us celebrate its release, you guys have been with us from the start.

If you want any amount of guest passes for the 26th(you guys will not be charged in to this!!!!!!) let me know, call me on 086 4012690 Hope all is well with you and the rest of the Grovers, talk to you soon

Gordon,Pat, and Paul

Brill Mel,

By the way did you get all those things autographed last gig
with Bernie Marsden. I had to dash off.

And believe me the guests these guys are hoping to line up are truly Grove stuff, but can't say at the moment who they are.

They may not be confirmed yet.

Pat

Pat, got all the Whitesnake singles signed by Bernie and Pat signed my Needle in the Groove (only for me to leave it in Sharons car on the way home).  Its in safe hands in Sharons of course but I got a fright when I couldnt find the record on the Monday after the gig!

Gary, that's brill

Just been talking to Gordon from the band and he says that anyone going on the Sunday night will have their details taken and issued with a guest pass.

I can confirm that Andy Powell from Wishbone Ash will be playing with Pat McManus later in the year as will Bernie Marsden again.

Other acts are also coming which I know Grovers will love.

Some of these gigs will be ticket only and the band want to hold as many of these tickets for us Grovers.

So those who go on 26th will be assured entry to the special acts during the year.

Folks,

There no tickets involved in this gig. Those who go Sunday will get special passes and as I understand will have their details taken for future reference to ensure loyal fans get preference for the "special guest" gigs that wull be happening during the year.
