The reunion turned out really well in the end. Bit like the original grove I only made it for 10 pm as a really busy day yesterday with Grace's birthday and its also my sisters birthday too, both on Cecil's anniversary. I got to chat to Cecils sister Gaye for the first time. Andy and Rob put on a great night and a fitting way to mark Cecils 4th anniversary. There is just something special about the music when ex grovers get together and I am sure he was looking down on us all. For all if you that couldnt make it ye were missed - Mel, Sean, Gerry and Pat and others. Rob played a song for Verona Hanlon which was a nice touch also.

Thanks Brian for that summary of what appears to have a successful reunion.
Cecil's spirit lives on through his son Rob on the decks and also Andy who was with Cecil before for many reunions and for all his efforts to keep the reunions going. And not forgetting all the Grovers who went and those of us who were there in spirit. Rock on 🤘 🤘🤘 |
