Well, Ger welcome aboard.
Was hoping at some point someone else would remember some great nights in the Crofton Hotel, I also went to gigs in The Magnet (Pearse Street?). Have more photos so will try to get time to scan them and will post them. |

Thanks for Stryder's great music & gigs around our Grove going years If you can't post a .wav over the web, sounds like a great reason to meet up in a hostelry somewhere & have a listen there...? Was it yourself that wore the Stryder embroidered denim jacket? and did the name originate from Tolkein? CP. |

Thanks Pat. Sorry for any confusion, I meant that i dont know if is is possible to post music files. Already i am amased at the people and things being remembered considering the number of years in between. My memory of the old days can be very hazy ... i blame the dodgy curries....

Glad you enjoyed the gigs, and (very) belatedly thanks for your support. Yes i did have the embroidered jacket, i am thinking of organising an expedition into the attic to see if there is any sign of it..... its soo dark ... Yep the name was taken from Lord of the Rings but we changed the name in case of a massive international copyright issue, or we could'nt spell... cant remember which one .... |
