Not my fame.

I think the folks in Thailand were fascinated that a DJ, Cecil, could run a disco for 30 years.

They were also fascinated by all the dancing styles, clothes, music etc as shown in the documentary and that so many people were influenced by the Grove.

May be going to hell in a bucket but at least I'm enjoying the ride.

We could always write to them asking them to show it again, ya never know, its not as if they're always snowed under with quality programming!!

Could we organise a private showing, hire a venue and a bar? I'm sure RTE would want a fee but it might be worth it for the laugh.

Right - we need a venue with a bar and a screen. I'll try to organise that unless anyone knows of one that is readily available.

What about permission from the production people? Any ideas, Pat?

Any idea of numbers?

What about some time in early May? I'm going on hols on 12th - can't wait

Andy knows Joe McElwaine, the director, real well.

I don't think ther'd be a problem screening it. I honestly don't think many people would be that interested in seeing it again, really .

Ah Lads cant we just have a small venue for the regs of here sure who needs a big group..lol the more the merrier but why go to bother to hiring a big venue when as we all know not many would probably turn up..me being the worse offender..lol

Why not have it in some1s local and get them to put it on the big screen and anyone who can or wants to make will turn up

I think when mins is home is a good idea
