Where did 1265 get her name?Smile

It was cool to wear the male symbol and the girlfriend wear the female. It meant she couldn't cheat on you (while you were looking). My symbol was extra big and shiney to match the size of my big mutton head.

1265 was her Grove number. Mine was 1972. Amazing the things you remember. I have a big box of old photo's ready for scanning. If I come across anything interesting I will post then. I can't seem to get me old Skid Row tickets posted for some reason.

Oh my god the bus behind you is the 20a.....was the the one that went down to Donnycarney?
always hated when that came instead of the 20b that went up to Beaumont meant we had longer walk from donnycarney church home if we didnt get the 20b
now i believe both the 20a and 20b not in service anymore, new bus taken over that route
All I wanted was chips!!

Interesting...Stern Smile...but what has that got to do with my medallion?

Back in my day both the 20A and 20B stopped in Donnycarney, but different ends. The 20 went to Beaumount. Its like when Mick and Joe missed the last bus home and decided to rob one out of Clontarf Bus Station. Mick climbed over the wall and after a few minutes shouts back-" Hey!-I can't see any 20As in here" and Joe shouts back-"Rob a 20B and we'll jump off at the corner".

I was pressured to replace it with more expensive bling. The poor girl is still waiting for an engagement ring.

I have millions of Brendan pics in my shoebox. I might start posting them if we can't come to some monthly payment agreement.
