I will be resurrecting another old classic Grove website "thread" (pun intended) on Friday night on FB for the Radio Show, the excellent "Grove Wardrobe" thread started by Mins on this site. Basically, in addition to all the other stuff we natter about, please share your comments on what you wore down to the Grove when you went. Will post the thread around 9.55pm on FB just before the show starts. |

How about the following?
1. Various theme nights? 60's pop, Rock music, Heavy Metal, Goth, Punk, Grunge, 80's, Prog Rock, Alernative, British rock, US rock. Or mixtures of various themes. 2. An album/s night. Either just play an album/s or have a guest either in studio on online select their choice. And talk about why that album or band mean so much to them and maybe talk about various tracks. Or everyone sends in their favourite 3 albums and 3 tracks from each album which would be compiled and then played on a show or over a few shows. 3. Also peoples favourite records night, as in single records. 4. Top 100/50 Grove songs as selected by Grovers via a voting system. 5. Remote show for our foreign Grovers. 6. Vinyl night where only vinyl will be played. Be they singles or albums. Perhaps a discussion on the track or album and maybe a reference to outer cover of the single or album. 7. A trivia night with music. For example where a band got it's name and a track by that band. 8. Obscure music night. A show of relatively unknown bands or tracks or one hit wonders. 9. A rant night similar to the thread on the website. With music played as well. What do Grovers feel about Ireland, global issues, music business, etc........ 10. Folk/bluegrass/acoustic etc....an 'Unplugged' night. Edited by Biker Pat - 16-August-2012 at 11:32 |

Another idea.
Pick a year from 1967 - 1997 and only play music from that particular year. There's 30 shows already |
