Not sure if this duplicates Lenny's useful links thread. When I was in a previous organisation there used to be what people called a network of “Bruds”. Bruds meaning brothers. The purpose of this network was to share information or have a network of people who would know somebody that might be able to help or give information on certain situations. I was wondering if the Grove forum members would be interested in setting up a network of contacts that each of us could share. A Grove Useful Contacts network. anyone know anything about house insulation?
Our 'new' house has an kitchen extension built 20+ years ago and is freezing this time of year. Heard there's some insulation you can get pumped into the walls?  |

Reading my mind there mate. we have a house that has been extended a couple of times and most of it is freezing. I don't mind it, but herself is a cold blooded creature (temperature wise only of course) and the gas bill for the last month has just come through. We'd knock the house and rebuild from a few more months of that expense. |

We have just moved into our house which is about 20 years old also has a kitchen extension which is freezing.We got a builder into have a look and he frist advise to knock the whole lot down and rebuild which we are not going to do.The other thing is to put a new roof on as the roof which is there has no insulation that is why it is freezing and just insulation the walls
