Delighted to hear the announcement of the forthcoming Grove Reunion on the radio show last Friday.
Unfortunately I won't be in attendance but will be there in spirit. I do hope all Grovers enjoy the night and it's poignant that the date will be the 4th anniversary of Cecil's passing. So I hope everyone gives it socks in his honour.

I have bought a ticket anyway. Now the logistics of getting there, and getting back, to and from the sticks are "challenging"! But hopefully I can sort something and go and enjoy the night. Thanks for the good wishes Pat - I'll have a pint in your honour!

hi lads,I started a new job today,which I'm delighted about,the only downside was when I got my roster...I'll be working night shift the night of the Grove reunion,so won't be able to make this one...

Very sad to hear two great Grove legends and close buddies on here are unable to attend the reunion on Saturday for various reasons.
Sean and Gerry you will be missed. I had the great honour to share pints with you two before the reunion in 2019. An sure there will be future opportunities to go to another reunion again. 🙏🙏🙏

thanks Pat,the job is going well so far,but I'll be thinking of the reunion tonight...this will be only the 2nd time I missed a reunion,I was sick for the one I missed before,and wasn't up to it at the time...I won't miss the next one.
