Hi gang,
Just wondering if people were interested in a few beers (maybe April or May). I think it would be nice to meet with some of the newer members and say "Hello". In any case, would be nice to get out and have a natter - my suggestion is Smyths in Malahide but HBs, Town etc., is cool too.

Just hope that having started a thread to organise a night out again, that you can make this one Mel

LOL! Wouldnt you know it, Siobhan reminds me that the Saturday 4th is the Saturday after her birthday (oops, now I'm in trouble!) - ya think I'd remember that her birthday is April 1st wouldnt you? Hmmm, there seems to be a few absentees and/or dissenters re 21st March and it is pretty close to the Swords gig on 15th March as well. Does anyone have a problem with June's other suggested date (18th April). Plenty of time to sort sitters out and not near any other planned nights out - does anyone have a problem with that date?

That's a pity about the Nep - it Would be great if a big bunch of thirsty

business to put a barperson there for the night.

18th in the Plough sounds fine to me - its central and near(ish) to most Bus and Train routes...
Do we really need to book a "corner"?? From the sounds of things, we wont exactly be swamping the place with numbers.
For what its worth, I'll show up there around the 8.30pm mark on that night (should be an interesting experience, as I dont think I've ever been in the place).
By the way, I'm easy on the venue but I reckon if someone doesnt make a definitive decision soon, we'll still be discussing a potential venue up until the date itself....
