Well as you all know I have being trying to getting this up and running the last few months.
My proposal for a Grove Radio show on Near Fm has been approved and starting August 3rd. The show is going consist of old Grove music and bands.
The Grove Show. Radio Near FM 90.3 Friday 22:00-23:30pm
I am looking for volunteers to come into the radio station for a chat and to play some of your favourite bands/songs from the Grove. Pick about 15-20 songs. Its all very informal and nothing to heavy.
Also if anyone is interested in helping out or have any ideas/suggestions please post below.
Update : The show is going to be 5 weeks initially and may get extended. There will be an email address and Facebook page and I hoping to get you all to request your favourite songs too and maybe post comments that we can say on air...

The first run should be fine but how long can we keep it going, the hardest thing to keep it interesting. At the moment we be chatting to people from The Grove and that could last a while but after that what more can we do with it ? So any suggestion on different ideas for a future format would be great... Facebook is going to play a lot in it too and we will try and keep it going in here too. Another idea I have for it is getting people to send in request via here or email or FB and maybe a little note on why they want to hear a particular song.. Ah we work it out as we go along
