   Does anyone remember the night Johnny Logan won eurovision and Cecil started playing the song?  Cecil was lucky to get out alive that night!!!!!

	Cecil NEVER played Johnny Logan. And that's coming from the horse's mouth. He said he'd rather die than play that. That's what the Grove was about - escaping from all that mainstream, eurovision, bland music that we were surrounded by. But he did confess to playing ABBA back in the seventies, but no more than thrice!

	Crusty, did you actually READ what I wrote - I said he started to play it, or broadcast it, or whatever. I used to go to the Grove on a Saturday night, - lo and behold on 17th May 1980 - it was a saturday. I remember it well. He got one line out and moved on quickly to another song. No, Im not confused, but I wont be back here again.

	Well Collettemc, I'm sorry if I misread or misunderstood your post, I wasn't there myself, I'm just acting as the mediator. It just came up in conversation with Cecil and he asked me to post a reply in his defence. Perhaps you can take it up with him at the next reunion if you wish!
