God, until last night I'd forgotten how much I love this song!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CuWE69U_B6I

While we are on the topic of AOR 70s rock, does anyone remember Cecil playing CCR?  I went between 91 ish & 94 ish and don't remember hearing them back then.

There's a reason I want to be Jeff Lebowski but I can't remember if it started at the Grove.
The only way you'd get me to go to school on Saturdays.

Hiya Mark and welcome to the madhouse.

As for CCR, you gotta ask Biker Pat about that. He's the resident John Fogerty expert around here.

Rolo.

"More than a feeling" - what a great track Mark.  Have ordered the 7" single of it online (already have it on album) for my singles collection...

Jaysus, a CCR fan.

Just check my avatar. It's a picture of Creedence Clearwater Revival.

My favourite band of all time and have all Fogerty's solo work as well.

Actually went to see Fogerty in Paris recently.

Cecil certainly played CCR back in my day '72-'75. He had to. I plauged him.

He also played "Down On The Corner" at the last reunion.

Cheers fellow CCR fan

May be going to hell in a bucket but at least I'm enjoying the ride.

Thanks for the suggestions.

One of my problems is my deck is bust but have not been able to part from my vinyls. Although over time I have bought alot of the albums on cd, thery are not the same. (its funny listening to old compilations I have done over the years - the the sound of the slight hiss or skip on a track makes me smile and often triggers as many memories as the track itself)

The detail of the artwork is generally lost on the cd cover. And some are probably no longer available. One of the days I will get a new record player.

Actually, Hard Nutz was the name of the album, and I agree, it's a great version of one more cup of coffee...

Got me on Milk & Alcohol! (and was it played at the Grove?)
That's the only one that springs to mind! I remember the video - just one snare drum! What else did Dr Feelgood have?
