Andy We all say that without Cecil we would not have had the Grove, but then Cecil always says without us there would not have been a Grove, but without you we wouldn’t have the Grove Reunions and the chance of reliving a part of our lives that really meant a lot to us. I think the Grove holds a special place in all our hearts. We all appreciate the hard work that you have put in over the last few years with the organising the Grove reunion, sorting out tickets, advertising, checking out venue’s (we won’t mention Croabh Ciarans eh! Rolo) Another thank you has to be for finally convincing and dragging Cecil to the Reunion and of course all your efforts with Joe to get the Grove Documentary up off the ground. This was a fitting tribute to Cecil and the Grove and again without all your effort this would probably never had happen, A thank you to you and Killian for setting up the Website and Forum were all of us “young” and “Older” Grovers can keep in contact with each. I think with the website that it adds to the atmosphere or vibe and the community feeling that we had in the Grove. The website has brought a lot of us together we have met and made new friends, we have found old friends who we lost contact with over years. Andy, back in the days we went to the Grove we all knew it was a great place, but as we got older we appreciated it more, but there was nowhere around that could ever recreate that feeling. I just want to say big thank you for everything that you have done above, its not often that people can relive there teenage years but that is what you have done for us. You have re-created the Monster that the Grove once was, the music, the friendship, the BUZZ. Long may it last.. Not forgetting to thank Tina who supports your Grove fetish and keeping you sane when things got a bit hairy especially with the last reunion. It was good see you at Harrys Byrnes and both of you in Smyths and we hope you will join us more in our Grove spins offs event next year. More picnics, Zoo trips, and drinking sessions Keep on Rocking Andy Peter Edited by Black Russian |

I think he's a sh*t actually!!!!! JOKING JOKING! Andy we've known each other briefly as youngsters and it's great to know you again as a person who has brought one of the happiest times of my life back into my life again. Fair play to you, everytime i go to a reunion i feel like I did all those years ago, not a worry in the world and like a rock chick...cheaper than therapy anyway I reckon!! See you at the reunion at Xmas, I will be working my baby belly off! Sinead. |

Pete, That is a wonderful and fitting tribute to Andy. I endorse everything you say and I know the effort Andy puts into each gig. And it comes from his HEART , just like Cecil did in his days in the Grove and the reunions.I also would ask Tina to take a bow as she's there supporting Andy, a lovely couple they are. Andy, take our plaudits as they are meant, gratitude to real effort in keeping The Grove alive. You're an inspiration and you are a really decent bloke ![]() |

Pete....you on the wine again? But seriously, I think you said what we were all thinking. Andy, without you, none of us would have the chance to relive the great times we had at the Grove, nor would we have this forum which has made me welcome from the start. I've got to know a lot of lovely people here and I've really enjoyed the extra-curricular activities that have happened this year in addition to the reunions. Andy, you did a great thing when you revived the Grove. Long may you rock. Jen |

Well said Peter. I stumbled over the site by accident last year and it has opened a new way of life for me. The reunions are awesome and i look forward to each one, which seems to be better than the last. My dad was telling my brother, who is 2 years younger than me, abouy my going tot he Grove. "There's no hope for that fella". We just keep on rocking. Thanks Andy and Tina and all the others who keep the reunions alive |

Without Cecil, we'd have no grove, Without Andy, we'd have no new grove. Thanks for giving us a new lease on life, a new lease on broadband, and the friends we've made - new and old. They say every generation should learn by the previous........... You did and thank you for it. Not sure I can thank you for Rolo, I'll just ask why oh why. |

Jeez PeteRRR, that's a well crafted piece of work - beautifully written and absolutely right. It always takes hard work on the part of a small few for the rest of us to swan in and enjoy the fruits of your labour. and I think it's obvious from this site, from the reunions and the odd meetup how much we enjoy your hard work. Thank you muchly. |
